Ozgen is Coming To Saqarah!

Ozgen has performed, taught, choreographed & directed for the last 15 years. His reputation as a male belly dancer & teacher has taken him across the World. In Istanbul, he joined the cast of Night of the Sultans combining contemporary dance, ballet & oriental dance.
Ozgen taught for several years at the Tolgahan Dance School in Istanbul & is now based in London, teaching and performing Turkish Oriental & Romani(Gypsy) dance internationally    th He will be teaching two workshops on Saturday 14 May 2011, and performing at the evening show.

12:00 - 2:00pm Cabaret Style Belly Dance

Learn a choreography to famous Turkish song “Tanrim” by Yanliz Kullar, from the famous musical called “7 Kocali Hurmuz”.  The choreography combines fun, cheeky steps with easy but effective moves,  Lyrics will be provided by Ozgen

3:00pm - 5:00pm Turkish Oriental

Learn a Turkish style Oriental routine - dramatic, with many hand and arm moves.  Great for dancers who want to spice up their Oriental feeling with dramatic and energetic styling!

Saqarah is also proud to announce that Ozgen will be performing exclusively for us on the evening of Saturday 14th May 2011 with an extended set! 

We will also be presenting specially hand picked performers from all over the UK.
